Logie Steading is a restored traditional Scottish farm steading located near Forres, in the heart of Moray. It’s known for its charming rustic architecture, cobbled courtyards, and a mix of craft shops, eateries, and cultural events. The site keeps the spirit of Speyside farming alive while offering a modern visitor experience.

The Logie House was once the home of Sir Alexander Grant, the inventor of a British icon: the Digestive Biscuit!

Farm + Tasting Menu Experience

Thorabella Farm is a working farm in Dallas, Moray, known for local produce and food experiences. It embodies the traditional Scottish rural lifestyle while opening its doors to visitors interested in farm-to-table food and artisanal products.

Farm + Tasting Menu Experience: Full farm experience (guided walk, meet selected animals, Q&A, photo time) plus a curated tasting of Thorabella Farm produce and selected local products. Tasting menu includes samples of buffalo, pork, lamb, Highland, plus local accompaniments (jams, chutneys, etc.)

Walkers Shortbread Shop – 15 min

Walkers Shortbread is one of the most famous food exports from Scotland, and it has a strong connection to the Moray Speyside area. Founded in 1898 by Joseph Walker in Aberlour, Speyside. Famous for its traditional Scottish shortbread.

The Dowans Hotel - 1h

Family-run boutique Scottish hotel on a Victorian mansion in Speyside, overlooking the village of Aberlour and at the heart of the Malt Whisky Trail. The hotel features a high-end restaurant as well as two bars. Their restaurant focuses on Scottish cuisine, often using local and seasonal ingredients. There are also two bars called The Still, which features more than 650 single malt whiskies, and MBar, which offers products from local breweries.

It is a bakery with a renowned reputation in the region. Traditional Scottish baked goods, crafted with local ingredients and classic recipes. Known for quality, artisanal baking—particularly breads, pastries, and sweet treats.

A Speyside Whisky Distillery (Benromach/Glen Moray) - 1h

Moray Speyside is home to over 50 active distilleries. Speyside whiskies are generally smooth, fruity, and sweet, often with notes of apple, pear, vanilla, honey, or malt. Benromach Distillery and Glen Moray Distillery are located in the north and north-west of Speyside.

The Town of Cullen (for Cullen Skink/Seafood) - 2h

Cullen is a small but historically rich town on the Moray coast of northeast Scotland, famous for both its fishing heritage and its culinary contribution, especially Cullen Skink, which is a soup made of smoked haddock, potatoes, onions, and cream. - absolutely delicious! You will have time to explore Cullen Beach and have lunch at the Royal Oak Hotel, where Cullen Skink is served.

The Town of Lossiemouth - 30 min

Lossie is a seaside town by the Moray Coast where the River Lossie meets the Moray Firth. A traditional seaside town with a mix of fishing heritage, sandy beaches, and tourism. It’s sometimes called “the jewel of the Moray coast.”

Have a local ice cream produced by the main local ice cream parlour shop: Miele's or Rizza's, while enjoying the beautiful seaview.
